LA drive times - please help!
I've read a lot on this site regarding LA traffic jams. Could somebody please advise me on the likely drive times for the following journeys IN MID AUGUST:
1) Santa Monica to Beverly Hills (start around 11am on a Saturday)
2) Beverly Hills to Universal Studios (start around 7am on a Sunday)
3) Santa Monica to Universal Studios (start around 7am on a Sunday)
4) Beverly Hills to Disneyland (start around 11am on a Monday)
5) Santa Monica to Disneyland (start around 11am on a Monday)
6) Disneyland to San Diego (start around 8pm on a Wednesday)
Any help from somebody with a little local knowledge would be extremely helpful.

Harv,
With 1,2 and 3 you should have no traffic at all as you are leaving early in the morning. I doubt any of these would take you more than twenty minutes and choice 1 should be around ten or fifteen (depending where in Santa Monica to where in BH). The traffic gets really bad during the traditional rush hour times and you're avoiding that.

Santa Barbara to BH (depends on where) should be around than 2 hours more or less via US101 and I-405, but traffic happens on Saturday afternoons, especially in the valley and on I-405. The last couple of miles from the Santa Monica Bvd. or Wilshire Bvd. exits into BH can also be a drag.
