LA-Beverly Hills

Hi-
My family and I will be staying at The Beverly Hilton on Wilshire Boulevard in July. I would like some recommendations for lunch and dinner. We will not have a car. We plan to get around via Uber. Any restaurants that offer Gluten Free options would be great! Thank you!

Yup, even Wolfgang Puck's Spago in BH offers gluten-free options, but knowing your budget would help.

I recommend you also download the Lyft app. I work in Beverly Hills and find Lyft usually cheaper and more quickly available than Uber in the West L.A. area.

Done. Thank you for the Lift suggestion. No budget, we are only in BH for 3 nights.

If you can snag a reservation, Crustacean is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the area.

I recommend Il Pastaio. Food and service are great. Had seafood pasta and grilled vegetable salad with grilled shrimps, and I loved both.

Panini Kabob Grill Restaurant & Catering | Healthy Mediterranean Food An easy walk from your hotel. Or walk over to Century City Shopping Center where there are lots of eating options of which I like the S.E. Asian one called, Rocksugar.

As for gluten free, it shouldn't be a major issue as here in L.A., we've been food conscious for decades. I also have food restrictions, although not gluten free, but very seldom have problems eating here at home.

Happy Travels!

You're welcome. And at Panini Cafe, the salmon kabob with the rice and avocado salad are really good. I first started eating at the Beverly Hills location years ago, until one opened in Glendale as I'm from Pasadena. Their restaurants are usually jam packed as I have eaten at several locations. There is also one in the Century City Shopping Center as I have also eaten at that one. That shopping center is really nice now that they pretty recently finished a major (1billion dollar) renovation.

Since you like Italian food, you might want to look in at Eataly in Century City shopping center. I haven't eaten in there, but there are always lots of folks there. They have about everything Italian there.

Oh, and the actual link for Rocksugar is below.

RockSugar Southeast Asian Kitchen

As for Sur, you'll need to take either a taxi, Uber, or Lyft to get there although it's only about a 15-minunte ride. I drove past, weekend before last, and it was very crowded.

Have fun here in L.A. as it's a lively city. Smiles.

Happy Travels!

Forgot that Panini Cafe changed its name to Panini Kabob Grill, but it's the same restaurant. Locals usually still call it by its former name.

Happy Travels!
