Key West Inns... need help
Has anyone been to any of these inns?
Key Lime Inn
Nassau House
Seascape Tropical Inn
If so, what did you think?
Are there any recommendations, we want to stay close to Duvall St, (in May) and prefer something $149 or less...
Thanks yall!

It's great to be close to Duval, but in my opinion, it's also nice to be as close to the Gulf as possible so you won't wear yourself out walking! The Seascape is very close to the Atlantic, which means it'd be a LONG walk from the Gulf. I've been by the Key Lime Inn a number of times but haven't been in. It looks nice and gets good reviews, though. I've never heard of the Nassau House. Grglnswsh will be able to give you a more complete review.

Key Lime Inn is on Truman Ave. & has plenty of off street parking. They have two pools & some very nice units. You won't be disappointed. Its a couple of blocks from Duval St. & not to far from the beaches. Its about a fifteen minute walk to Mallory Square give or take a few minutes. If you have kids under 12 I believe the Ambrosia will not give you reservations. In my opinion the Ambrosia is next to the Marquesa Hotel & the Heron House. The Ambrosia will cost a little more money than Key Lime Inn but its located right across the street from Marquesa. The Ambrosia is my pick.

Take Nassau House off your list. The location isn't bad but overall your other choices are better. It has a very small pool area and some of the rooms are very small. Seascape has a good location but I have heard complaints that the rooms in the main house are small and have thin walls. They have cottages that get nice reviews. The Key Lime Inn is cute but larger compared to the others. It location is not as good as the others but it is still not too bad. It is also a newer property. Ambrosia is nice but it does allow kids (I am not sure of what age but I thought I have heard of young kids staying there) so a quiet day by the pool might be immpossible. There are also some rooms next to a public garden that has some very large and loud parrots that might be a pain in the butt early in the morning. But Ambrosia probably has the best location. The Key Lime Inn also has a "sister" property called The Merlinn Inn which also might be worth a look.
