Key West in December

My husband and I are traveling to Florida in early December with 2 other couples, planning to spend 3 or 4 nights in Key West. We are considering renting a house or condo rather than three motel rooms. Can anyone recommend a vacation house or condo? We would like Old Town if possible, under $300 per night.

You're going to have problems on two fronts: In high season, it'll be difficult if not impossible to find something big enough for 6 people costing $300 a night. Another problem in Key West is that most condos and/or vacation houses only rent by the week. You might try looking in keywestparadise.com

Thanks Susan! We found a condo for $200 per night...and decided to stay for a whole week.

Gina, I'd be a little scared of a $200 condo in Key West during the high season. Be sure to check it out carefully.

Make sure one of the 'bedrooms' isn't a pull-out sofa in the living room.

I'd love to know what you found (and where it is) at that price!
