Try Mangia Mangia for a restaurant. For sightseeing; Mallory Square at sunset, The Hemingway
home, The Conch Train tour, Mel Fisher's Museum, The Curry Mansion and the southern most point in the United States. For bars; Hogs breath, Sloppy Joes and Jimmy Buffets.

sounds like an ideal vacation: luxurious relaxation onLittle Palm and tawdry exuberance in Key West.
Here's my suggestions: 1. drive very slow on Big Pine Key to see the famous keys deer which are like something made by disney for tourists:knee high fully formed deer that can be seen by the road . 2. you'll obviously dive at Looe Key 3. hire a flats fisherman to take you bone fishing or polling the flats for some other fish in the Florida Bay...quiet, still & beautiful. 3. the best meal you'll have is having the chef at Palm Island prepare your catch for you or try the Quay at Marathon. My all time favorite meal in the Keys was at a dive in Islamorada called the Lorelei, eaten outside at their Chickee bar. No 4 star wine but a magnificently prepared pompano. 4. Louie's Backyard restaurant in Key West is excellent with Ocean views...very romantic. 5. Ask one of the very chic bartenders at Mangoes to recommend the restaurant of the moment in Key West to you..these gay men always have their pulse on what is the best place, etc. 6. Pier House is a nice hotel right near Mallory and the restaurant there is excellent as well. The Marriott in Key West unfortunately is always busy and they have lost their incentive to keep up the quality. It's a pretty, historic building but not worth much more than a glass of champagne as you tour. 7. Hint: if you are day tripping to Key West, do not wear your Hog's Breath Saloon t shirt to dinner on little Torch key (Palm Island) 8. I enjoyed the Audubon house gardens there and it might be fun to take the sales tour of some outrageous condos they are building just off the point of Key West. If the salesman sniffs that you are at Little Palm resort, you are a shoo in for the deluxe tour.
