Kauai - Kiahuna Plantation

Has anyone stayed at Kiahuna Plantation? How far/inconvenient was the walk to use the Sheraton's pool?

Kiahuna Plantation is right next door to the Sheraton. They share a beach. Kiahuna guests use the pool at the tennis club across a fairly busy street- not as close or convenient as the Sheraton's.

Kiahuna is a very nice resort. The grounds are maintained quite nicely. We have stayed there many times, but not recently. Can you legitimately use the Sheraton's pool without an access card? Actually, we never used the pool at Kiahuna. You are so close to the ocean, but Mary Jo is correct in that Kiahuna's pool is not in close proximity to most of the units. If a pool is that important to you, you may want to make another choice in condo rentals.

I just booked at the Kiahuna and was told I have access to the Sheraton's garden pool. There is a good aerial view of the resort at the following website:

Check out both the Kiahuna and Sheraton.

Ditto to Karen--didn't need a pool as the beach was good and lots of other places to go and things to do in Kauai. There is not air conditioning, but great ventilation and nice units.
