Kauai Helicopter Tours - which one?

Can anyone recommend a reputable and safe company for a helicopter tour on Kauai? What are the chances of getting air sick? What about getting a video - prepackaged or one with us in it? Thanks!

We were in Kauai in August and took our island
tour with Jack Harter. He's the one who started
the business on Kauai. They're 135 certified,
meaning that they adhere to more rigid and expensive
safety standards. Video is included with the flight.
You'll either fly with him or his other pilot.

Aloha,

Was in Kauai in May and flew with Safari. I recommend them -- was a very smooth flight. Dana (male), our pilot, has lived in Kauai for years and does quite a bit of hiking. He was able to point out various hiking spots.

Forget the prepackaged video. Get the one with you in it. Although you are really only shown boarding and exiting the helicopter, the video contains exactly what you saw that day as well as everything said by everybody on the flight.

Besides Dana, there were six of us inside. When I made a reservation, I asked if my boyfriend and I could sit in the front seat. I think we saw the most because we had this great big front window to look out of.

Caveat: Although you may request the front, there's no guarantee you'll get it. It depends on your weight as well as the weight of the others flying with you. They have to balance it out.

Good luck! I hope the waterfalls are really flowing when you go!

Thanks for the info. Anyone been on with kids? Where do they sit in the 'copter? Are there ones who fly lower than others for better flightseeing?
