My finace and I just returned yesterday and we stayed at KBH and loved it. It is a very authentic hawaiin hotel and the staff were wonderful. I would suggest staying in the Maui wing ground floor, we had a partial ocean room but we faced the pool and could see the ocean perfectly, plus we could sit on our back porch and watch the nightly show with our mai tai's

hope this helps

It's got a great staff and a great location--but it is not a luxury hotel. The rooms need work and the pool is small. If you like to be pampered on vacation (i.e., you enjoy amenities such as room service, a vanity in your bathroom, a waiter taking drink orders at the pool, etc.) this is not a recommended hotel. I would never recommend this to anyone on their honeymoon or other special occasion. I would suggest trying to get a good rate at the Sheraton next door, or the Hyatt down the strip, instead.
