JW Marriott on Oahu

Does anyone have any personal experience with this property?? If so, I would really appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I am thinking about staying there for one week (on a Marriott reward certificate in Nov or Dec). Is a week too long for this one hotel? Are there plenty of things to do? My wife and I like the beach but can't be on the beach for a week straight. Thank you.

JW Marriott is the Ihilani. Far away from the excitement of Waikiki. If you still want that type of exclusiveness but rather be nearer the action, then the Kahala Mandarin oriental is probably a better choice.

Lottie,

What are you saying? Please re-read Kyle's question and your answer. Am I the only one to be shaking my head? Some of your answers do that to me!

We were at the beach in front of JW on Christmas Day this year. Snorkeling was good. The golf course there was really something. It is out by itself. You have to drive to any "action" so to speak. Beautiful setting and really peaceful if you just want to sit and relax. From your statement, this might not be what you are looking for. Many things to do and see in Oahu if you are willing to fight the traffic. I have stayed at the Marriott in Maui and found it to be just so so but a great location. JW really was a beautiful property and blew away the property on Maui but the location was isolated.

Why don't you shut up. I think any feedback is better than your rude crap.
