How about the ability to delete the posts of others - now that would be a thrill! (I am sure quite a few of mine would be deleted, but that would be half the fun)

I'd like real folders for each state like Frommers has.

You can click on a state!

Oh, no, please don't make this website like so many others! I love to see all posts. Especially the silly ones

Agreed Faina. If it ain't broken, don't fix it. That said, we could use a "foot in mouth" smiley to acknowledge our mistakes.

Like they say in the construction industry:
Measure twice, cut once.
Don't be so heavy handed with the "Post my reply" button!

No, ggrtist. It needn't be deleted. It could be covered by the "boot in butt" smiley.

There's a guy on the Europe board that was asking a question about "Pone Cards". I bet he wanted to change that!

I held back and didn't start talking about corn pone.

Rusty: There are few enough places for adults to have childlike fun. Please don't take the fun out of it!

I do agree the poster should have control over his/her own posts as to deleting.

And rb_travelerx, that is a good principle, but don't get me started on the mistakes that are done in the construction industry....nobody's perfect.

yes, deleting your own "oops" would be good. But since there is no "tone" or way to know how people are saying something, I think the emoticons (as childish as they are) are kind of importatnt. Especially for us sarcastic types! ;-)
