Jacksonville weather March 19-26

From those with knowledge of Jacksonville, what can I expect the weather to be like. Please tell me I can get on the beach for a few days. If not what other things are there to do in Northeast coastal Fla.

Right now it is sparkling sunshine and a cold wind.
Last March, those dates ( I remember because my son was visiting from Japan) we were able to go to the beach and walk, with clothes on. The water I think was waay too cold.
But there are hot days so you never know..it changes by the day, expect anything, but I doubt it will be beach weather many days.
What to do..
rent a car, drive to Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island.
go to Big Talbot and Little Talbot Islands...beautiful..especially the beach with skeletons of full grown oak trees as far as you can see.
Kingsley Plantation..beautiful.
Drive out around mayport Naval Base and see the USS John F Kennedy in port.
Go out to the beaches, Jacksonville Beach has lots of funky shops and some good places to eat..go to Ponte Vedra and drive along the ocean and ogle the homes
Go to St Augustine, 30 minutes from downtown Jax..spend the day, walking eating and shopping.
Eat at Bistro Aix in San Marco, Biscottis in Avondale and go to the Landing in town. Take a water taxi across the river and see the MOSH (museum of science and history) and have a drink outdoors at the American Brewery something...I forget the name but it is right there.
Hope this helps ~

I agree with Scarlett. This time of year in Jacksonville can have very changeable weather. Today it was 78 and yesterday 80 but last week it was in the 50s and I think the average is about 73 degr. It will definitely be too cold to get in t he water (you really can't do that here until the end of April/first of MAy) but it should be nice enough for a stroll on the beach in jeans and a short sleeve shirt. I also have a last year story. TPC (The Players Championship) golf tournament is always about this time every year here and I had company come in from Detroit to go last year. One day we had on jeans, long sleeve shirts and windbreakers, the next day we were in shorts in the heat of the day and my company even sat by the pool and sunned one day (pool not in service yet). In other words we usually have a lot of sun and it will be nice but by no means will it be frolicking in the ocean time.
