It isn't Becco's or Beccos, the restaurant in Becco.

I just got a resume from someone who adviced me that

"references refurbished apon request"

and that she has tons of "hans on" experience.

Well I have been scolded on the board for misuse of site and sight (i.e., site-seeing is not correct although in theory makes sense to me).

Birdie, I do not think you're a troll but I *do* find it downright hysterical that you made a type both in your title and in your post -ROTFLOL (included especially for those of you who do not care for internet abbreviations!).

Somebody working in a medical office told me, a typist issued a referral to a specialist - therapist. In her "interpretation" it was typed as 2 words: "the rapist".

It's "bare arms" not "bear arms" unless one is talking of particularly hirsute arms

It's "their car", not "there car"

It' "hair" that sits atop one's head, not "here"

Oh, aghhh! This is going to make me start drinking early today to take away the pain! LOL!

Birdie, as an editor, I was particularly cheered by this thread and the kind-spirited responses you have evoked. It's good to know that we do still value correct grammar and spelling, and that we also understand that mistakes are merely opportunities to learn. Bless you and all your kind.

Hello, my name is LoveItaly and I am a terrible typist. I also confess to hitting the "post" button before using the "edit" button. I have an excuse, I hardly ever typed until I started using a computer. That is my excuse and I am sticking with it, LOL. Cheers!

I have some pet peeves to:

One: People who use "to" when they mean "too".
To: People who use "to" when they mean "two".

Yes, Birdie, you do get the "good sport award", lol!

We should write Fodors and suggest that they charge us a little more for a spell check feature I'll start passing the cup (just ignore the coffee)...
