is vrbo for long term rentals?
hi
someone else's post about relocating to warmer climates made me wonder what resources there might be for a long term rentals? i don't have a spacious home so home swap is not going to work, but i would greatly appreciate anyone's advice about a long term rental site.
i am 90% sure it will be for hawaii, but have not ruled out puerto vallarta.
by long term i mean 1-3 months.
any resources appreciated. thanks a lot!

While some VRBO listings offer prices for a month, and a few even have one month minimums, I've found for the most part, that they are not good choices for 1 to 3 month rentals as most owners get more renting them by the week.
There are other sources, including sublets under Craigslist for various locations. Or google a destination and enter "corporate housing" a good term for furnished rentals of a couple of months.

I think you should also look include VRBO and vacationrentals and the like for the area you want to go. On the island off the east coast of FL where my parents have their unit, most of the condo buildings have 1-3 month minimum rentals. There are a ton of condos for rent listed on those sites, so, as an example, all of those are for long-term rentals.
I would also suggest you look in the classified section of the local newspaper of wherever you want to rent - most newspapers are online now.
