lol peeky, this is totally travel related--flys travel and, yes, I've seen them on airplanes. I don't know whether or not being called a fly is good or bad but I cannot wait to see where this thread takes us!

I am going to take a guess and say it means you are like a bothersome fly and you will not go away. Just a guess.....

One slang meaning: to be no fool, to know a thing or two.

You fly, man!

So the consensus is - its good?!

On the other hand if a fly gets on a plane here and gets off the plane in Spain - he would be in for a cultural shock.

Would the fly arriving in Spain need a passport?

Never heard of it. I've only heard of a fly on the wall. You should ask the guy in the factory what it means.

Amusing - he was insulting my job? He is the janitor! A lovely man - buff, tuff and off the cuff - tall dark handsome ladies man - leaves a trail of drooling women in the factory.

You fly, man, igottatellya, you fly!!

On the other hand - would the Spanish flies welcome the American fly? Would he live throught the initiation?

Would the American fly be able to communicate in Spain? Does s/he know how to buzz in Spanish?

There's some song with "fly mother" in it that used to come up in our exercise classes...step or body pump. Are you a mother peeky? Maybe it's a really in-shape Mom...and he just shortened it to fly, dropping the mother part, you and he being buff, tuff and off the cuff together?

Peeky, are you sure you didn't just
misunderstand him. You thought he said
"You're a fly" but what he really
said was "You are an incredibly hot
babe."

Jennifer Lopez was a Fly Girl.
So, I'd vote "yes". It would be good to be a fly - or at least to have her booty.
