get the Catholics out of the alcohol please.

Linda and Rick put in an official bid for November 3 (Sat) or 4 (Sun). We'll make it work.

btw...we just finished booking our entire Austrian trip for June and I'm yodeling and going crazy! tee hee

Do you know about this event?

Considering that lots of wineries charge for tasting now, it's a pretty good deal. Winter wineland in January is a REALLY good deal.

WOW....thanks for posting that. Hmmm could throw a wrench in things, but knowing Rick he will be all for it. We could do the wine road on Sunday.

Sorry for the drama last night LLinda, if you were referring to me in our Catholic/alcohol comment.

Rushed my husband to the hospital, but emergency surgury was diverted. Very scary, big sigh of relief. I apologize if I offended you.

Have fun planning your GTG

Kal, put on your mourning outfit. I don't have to hitchhike to get to Petaluma.

What is that "forbidden rice" on their menu?

sistah-I was being silly...I could not understand what the heck anyone was talking about, so I figured Lent was making people crazy! It takes a lot to offend me, LOL. Glad to hear about your hubby. 40 bucks for Sunday....all you can eat and drink. Sounds excellent to me. Rick will go along with anything. I do think we'll arrive on Thursady for a little quiet time in the vineyards.

Now I'm going to kill Kal. I do feel a little bad about it, but just a little. Not enough to stop now.

KAL: you think the main menu is killing you? Check out their dessert (and drinks!!) menu. This is a reall killer.

Now I worry if he's still alive and if he's ever coming back here.

FYI-On Sun, Nov 4, we'll be "falling back" off of daylight savings and back to PST out here.

I'd like to hear from those that work on weekends, or on a day of the weekend, as to which is a better bet for you-Sat. or Sun-as well as those that will be traveling to the area
and want to stay overnight, which day would be best for you-and/or if either
would work.

I am pondering a 1 PM gathering time for appetizers and libations/non-libations.

Kal is probably in la la land (more so than usual), enjoying a lovely versed and fentanyl induced nap. Hint: Reference the colonoscopy thread.

1 pm is fine. Saturday may be better for me, Sunday is the 2nd choice, but not a no.

Got an e-mail from Paula1470 - she may be in the area and would love to attend.

We will not be wearing pink leather suites
