Side visit to Los Alamos is interesting. If you like spas, they have a unique one - ten thousand waves. Don't know if this restaurant is too spendy, but it was memorable when we visited a few years ago - Geronimo's. If you golf, Conchiti Lakes Golf (about 25 miles south) is really special. Enjoy!

hi, i like pasquals for breakfast//lunch _ reasonably priced, always crowded. the place next door, i can't remember its name, seems to catch their spillover and also has a nice breakfast//brunch. Also i like to eat on the rooftop bar at coyote cafe _ interesting food and a LOT cheaper than the main restaurant. cowgirl hall of fame is good for a drink.
I am a fan of the Georgia Okeeffe museum, and agree with the previous poster about Ten Thousand Waves _ very cool Japanese-inspired spa, if you are on a budget just go have a bath in the outdoor hot tubs, they're wonderful.

We visited Santa Fe last month and decided to eat India cuisine after reading about a restaurant called India Palace. I would never have thought that Santa Fe New Mexico would have the best the best Indian food I have ever had but it does. This is outstanding food and the prices are very reasonable. We also love the fish tacos at Atomic Cafe.

Take a drive out to Bandelier National Monument and hike out to the cliff dwellings. Take a drive up to Chimayo; it's a small village that specializes in weaving rugs and such.
The Puye Cliff Dwellings are nice.
If you want a LONG day trip, drive up to Chaco Canyon. This Indian site is AWESOME.
In town, strolll down the street, especially Canyon Road.
I think the Cowgirl Hall of Fame is a great bar AND restaurant. It's off the beaten path, too. If you want to drop some dough but get a great meal, head out to Rancho Encantado - it's a hotel about 8 miles north of town. Tesuque Village Market has a great breakfast (about 5 miles north of town, just past the Bishop's Lodge.)
Have fun.
