When Nicole asked, "what are those things, they're on every corner?" she was referring to the mosques. And Brandon answered that "they're like Starbucks here!". I mean, how sheltered can you be??
The editors can alter the audience's perception to a degree, but they use the footage you give them. I just think that if you REALLY believe that your god is watching over you so you can win some dough, why is he not watching over the thousands of poor children you're racing by on your way to the prize??
That type of thinking baffles me beyond belief.
Anyone who signs up for a reality show should be savvy enough to realize the name of the game. They give you a chance to change your life, you give them some dish for the watercooler crowd. Just don't whine about it afterwards!

Absolutely vespertine! You wanna shot at a million bucks, but you want to be portrayed as a "nice" person. Unless contestants on these shows just crawled out from under a rock, they must know there is a very good chance that their portrayal on TV will not be favourable. That's the price for your 15 minutes.
