information re cheeseburgers

Looking for any information in regards to
a restaurant on Front Street titled
Cheeseburgers. Possibly an email address
as I am wanting to contact them re making
reservations for when we are g oing to be
over there in a few months. I would appreciate any response anyone would have.
We ate at this restaurant when we were there
a few years ago. It was a good place to
eat. Thank you for your help.

Please repost this message with a bit more information. First off, indicate the location in the subject (no one knows where this is except front street). Second, maybe indicate in the subject that it is a restaurant, and not a food, that you are interested in.

Oh my, the Billy Goat Tavern! What a dive! "Cheeburger, cheeburger, NO FRIES! Chips!" Wasn't that the inspiration for the Saturday Night Live skit?

The original Billy Goat Tavern is on Michigan Avenue in the basement of the building that houses the Chicago Tribune. The Wrigley Building maybe?

When we walked into Billy Goat Tavern, one of the ancient cooks looked at me, then looked at Mr.GoTravel and said, "Nice streetwalker!". We just laughed.

Yes, Woody. When some of the SNL actors were with Second City, they used to go there.
