I grew up in Crystal River and I would suggest going to the chamber of congress home page and looking there for some information about that stuff. A great place for your RV would be rock Crusher Canyon. Give that a try, that is right in the middle of the county and you can get to both Homosassa and Crystal river in 5 minutes from there.

Go to www.lightninrv.com and go to Rentals. Once there, scroll down the menu on the left and click on "Campgrounds" and scroll down to Woodalls. There you can search for every campground within 25 miles of there, and be able to compare all of them.

I've gone 2x with Bird's Underwater. The guy's nickname is Bird. Each "time" was 4-5 consecutive outings. It's where I'd go again.
Don't know about the RV park, but if you called Bird's, they might be able to help.

I also went in Homosassa with Captain Mike. His operation was great, but the water was very cloudy. I'd consider going there again too.
The park in Homosassa is really good. You can see manatees and many birds. Good for kids and adults.
My response is very late. You may have decided already. Have a good time.

I've gone to a bunch of places in Florida in my RV. You can see them here on my Florida Travel Guide
