Can anyone suggest good Indian cuisine restaurants located in downtown DC? Thanks

we love the Bombay Club, though have been out of DC for 2 years- so check with the locals to see if it is still there- it was big with the Clintons - located at 815 Ct between H & I st. N.W.

My two favorites are Delhi Dhaba on Connecticut Avenue and Heritage India (which consistently gets rave review from Washingtonian.com) on Wisconsin Avenue.

Heritage India (in Upper Georgetown) is wonderful, and the best Indian in Washington in my opinion. Bombay Club (downtown) is also very good. Both are a little pricey, but not outrageous.

Aditi in Georgetown is my favorite for cheap Indian. They also have an all-vegetarian Indian cafe next door, if that's of interest to you (and Aditi also has lots of veggie options).
