FYI - the Chicago Marathon is Oct 7 and is going to be even more packed to the gills than previous years - i'd book a room ASAP if you're coming that weekend

We've stayed at the Intercontinental which has the most gorgeous indoor swimming pool, the Marriott (nice, but typical Mariott) and are trying the Embassy Suites near the Magnificent mile this year. There is also a new Embassy Suites on the lake near the Navy pier which is offering some promotional rates. Have fun.

Just wanted to wish to a great time in Chicago. I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Mart Plaza in the summer and it was very good.
