dfarr, it was because of your trip report that we went to Hukilau Lanai. Great food and service.

makai1, you will look "oh, so fine" in your Tropical Tantrum duds!

Got my visa bill today and the car on Kauai thru National that I reported was $158 for 10 days was only $137 for 10 days. Went thru entertaiment.com and bought the entertainment book for this.

We got our package yesterday..all the "stuff" we had to ship. Didn't even touch the cookies or nuts. Back on my diet and have taken off the 3 lbs. that I gained.

Still wish I had Jojo's shave ice with macadamia nut ice cream on the bottom.

OSB..send me an email address and I will send you a photo of the TT's fits.

Others get tired of me posting my mug all over the place.

Are you oh so excited about your trip? When is it you leave?

i2,
Aloha pal. Do you know if T.T. sells men's clothes? Are there any stoes that sell interesting and unusual (not Tommy Bahama) men's clothing?

Just in case you were wondering....42 days!!!

Aloha everyone!

Aaahhhhh yes... 15 short days... woo hoo! Belle, what are the dates that you're in Kauai? I'm there 6/29-7/12. Maybe we'll overlap and do our own lil' GTG w/ Auntie M. ;;D

Isn't Tropical Tantrum in Hanalei anymore? If it is, you'll be able to walk there, Bill. What was the name of the place in Hanapepe? for the handmade shorts you like?

Icee we are hanging out in Princeville at a lovely villa (kauaivilla.com) and also a few nights at Pali Ke Kua. I'm looking forward to doing nothing... experiencing the rainy days... no nightlife... chickens feeding on the neighbor's young screaming children... ok, skip the feeding chickens.

Yaa, no plans other than a Capt. Sundowner cruise up the NaPali coast, and snorkeling Hideaways and Kee. Maybe a couple of hikes if I'm in the mood. ><

I can smell it now.

makai 1,

Good to know that there is a Torpical Tantrum in Hanalei. I can't wait!!!!!

Jacqueline on Kauai is the one who makes the shorts. I'm actually wearing a pair right now! Last July she was sharing the shop with another seamstress. As you're headed into town she is about half way down towards the bridge on your right. Here is a link I found about her.

Have a great trip!

How funny is Craig T Nelson in his sunglasses? I'm sure he's swamped w/ papparazzi where ever he goes.

makai1..what you missed is..if you look at my photos specifically #289..enlarge it to full size and look over Charlie's left shoulder..it's Craig T. Nelson...AuntieM says he lives on the North Shore and shops at Foodland just like she does!! And no one was bothering him for an autograph.

I don't think there is a TT in Hanalei, but I have been wrong before. Where do you think it is?

Belle, email me at dfreezeatdaltondotnet and I will do my best to find a photo for you.

Billy Boy..I wish you had reminded me about Jacqueline before I left to go...

Guess, I will just have to store it in memory for the next trip. Do you have any of her "aloha chicks"..Isn't that the cutest thing to do?

She's in Hanapepe, right?

i2,

I saw her "chicks" last year. Yes, they are cute, but not my style, however I might buy one or two for my classroom as the kids will probably love them. I can pick some up for you while we are there in...41 days! Yaa?

ta-ta,

Bill,
Please explain about the chicks. I am a teacher too, and would love to bring something back this summer to my classroom! What grade do you teach?
