Zamda: Thanks! Since you're already staying 3 nights on the Hana side, I would definitely add the fourth night to you stay in Wailea. There is so much to do on that side of the island that you'll definitely need it. Have a great time...look forward to your report!

TravelDiva -
I don't check this site that often so I just saw your amazing report.
It was so wonderful to read. We took a very similar trip in September for our honeymoon, staying at the Kea Lani and then the Hotel Hana Maui for one night. I even had the goat cheese sandwich from room service at the Hotel Hana Maui and loved it, too. And the onion rings at the Renaissance, mmmmm.
Your report brought back so many wonderful memories - and the lingering pain of Maui withdrawal. Your pictures were fantastic, especially on the Road to Hana and of the Sea Ranch Cottage. It was so hard to leave. I want to go back right now - not in the five years we're planning.

thyme - Wow, great minds think alike, huh? Yeah, the lingering pain of Maui withdrawal was starting to subside until this past Saturday's wedding reception for my brother and his wife. They played their wedding video and pictures from the trip, and both BF and I had lumps in our throats.
We really blew our budgets on this trip, so like you, won't be heading back to Hawaii for a while. If only there was a time machine that could take us back. I could definitely use another round of the goat cheese sandwich and onion rings!!
Mahalo!
