I-84 NE PA to CT
In December we will be attending a family wedding in NE PA, want to then drive to see dear friends' new home in Niantic. Looks like it's mostly I-84 and will take about 3.5 hours on a Sunday or Monday afternoon. Any tips or suggestions for things to see/do along the way? We won't want to dawdle much en route but would enjoy a brief stop along the way for food, views, etc. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

There's not much on that stretch of road......we use it to get from here to there, but nothing else....
An option about half way is Poughkeepsie, walk the Walkway over the Hudson, stop for lunch. POK is about a 15min drive north of I84.
