hyatt plantation resort or time share

We have a booking for the Coconut Plantation Resort in Bonita Springs. Is the hotel nicer to stay at or the time share property? Also, how high pressure are those time share sales talks? Does anyone own a time share there?

We stayed at the Hyatt Coconut Point and took the time share tour, it was really very low-key compared to many. As far as to which place to stay, I think both places allow you to use the other's facilities. The Plantation has a nice river ride pool and little nooks and corners where you can sit in a hammock and relax in the shade, while the Coconut Point Hotel is more of a traditional feeling pools, about 4 different pools with access by boat to the beach area. I think the time share rooms would in general be more spacious and with more amenities such as kitchen, washer/dryer etc. But the room we had at the hotel had three balconies etc. and was gorgeous. Either place would have suited me fine!

Have alot of fun there.

We had just been to Key West, Ft. Lauderdale, South Beach and Orlando with our teens and dropped them off for a conference in Orlando to spend 3 nights at the Hyatt without them. So we didn't really do alot of touring, and with the time share sales talk they gave us $150 towards amenities at the resort so we used that money to eat right at the hotel!

So can't really say too much about other restaurants, we did drive to Naples and took the boat tour of the homes along the bay which was interesting.
