Hyatt Hill Country Resort in San Antonio?

Hi, all - has anyone stayed at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort in San Antonio? Would this be a nice spot for a bunch of college girlfriends to reunite for a fun weekend? Has anyone tried the spa? Any activities on the property?

Thanks for any info. you can provide.

We really liked it. Nice setting, very nice rooms, good restaurants, and you can do as much or little as you like. We used for R & R so frankly can't tell you all the activities they offer, and didn't use the spa (although DW certainly thought about it). Their swimming "river" was relaxing. I think it'd be a great place for reunion - and of course you're still close enough to town that you could always go to the Riverwalk etc if you wanted to.

It's a great property. The rooms are lovely. Each has a small fridge. If I were you, I'd ask for ground floor rooms, facing the spa.

Be prepared for a lot of kids, however. I think they were one of the first resorts to have its own "lazy river" so it is a big draw for families. (But there is also an adult "quiet pool" and adult spa with water fall.)

The HCC is right across the road from Sea World.

The day spa is beautiful. It's in a separate very "hill country" looking little building. On the day of the spa treatment, you also get a pass to use the spa's own quiet pool and hot tub.

A friend of ours stayed there with his teenage boys this past spring--they loved it. The property is beautiful and the restaurant, Antlers Lodge, is excellent with nice views.

The Shops at La Cantera are relatively close and would make a great place for a girls day out if it's not raining!
