How's Florida doing?

My husband and I were thinking about going to Florida in beginning of November. Probably Orlando and the Keys.

How is the area---post hurricane?

Thanks

Went out to Sanibel yesterday to see the damage from Charley,,,,it is very bad on Captive,,,not too bad on Sanibel, mostly tree canopy loss. We could only go as far as the Post office on Captive..the road was still closed to traffic. Fort Lauderdale has little to no damage as far as I could tell.

There is still a lot of residential damage in Orlando, with several houses near Disney being condemned due to damage, but mostly all you see are the many blue tarps covering roofs all over town. Everything is open.
