Go T,

Thanks for the Europe one. I did level 4 without looking at a map or any other primers. 80%. Yikes, those Eastern countries killed me.

Faina that's kinda what I was thinking too - but all the costal states are easy to see where the piece best fits - of course you need to know they are costal .
it's all the middle ones that I had trouble with.

This is too much fun! I scored 94% average error 12 miles in 373 seconds. Iowa killed me! Can't wait to try Europe.
Thanks for the site info.

Indie, I can't even open without installing something, what I can't do using a business computer.

Faina:

Try typing in

www.sheppardsoftware.com/

Once on the home site, try "games" and it'll bring up all the different levels and the different continents.

Have fun!

This is so much fun. I wonder if this is the same software company that had the game where you dropped brains into Bush's head? It's very similar, with the scoring and everything.

I did it three times and never got any better.

Easy, no, still need that flash installed. I am not allowed to install anything.

It's OK, I'll manage. Somebody give me Kleenex!

First time 88% 14 miles but 374 seconds. Didn't know it was timed. Second time 90% 17 miles 205 seconds. A little better. Boy when you have to start with one of these square states in the middle of the country it kills you every time. My mouse is acting up so can't seem to trim my seconds off. Anyway lots of fun. Will have to try Europe next.

Has anyone tried the advanced version of it? Once you place a state it disappears, so you don't have previous states to reference when placing new ones. 74% correct on the first try with 43 miles average error here. It's a toughie!

98% with 3 miles average error, 380 seconds because I was placing very precisely

The 2% was Colorado. Had to place it without any of the bordering states present. Missed by 46 miles or so.

68%, 39 miles for the hard one. This is not good for us with obsessive personalities.

That is a tough level, Jocelyn! I got a 70 with 44 mile average error on the advanced. I even missed getting VT exactly right and I grew up one state away...and vacationed there every summer.

Thanks for Europe GoTravel. Thanks for nuttin'! LOL 84 on level 4, but 3 miserable tries at other levels before getting the 84. Geez.

Budman, you're hallucinating. Must be one too many brewskies. I've long moved on.

Thanks for posting the link to the geography game. I had a ball with it today, especially all the European maps. My daughter, who just started Kindergarten, got about 60% of the states right on the easiest version. She used to put together a map puzzle over and over, so she was familiar with how to fit things in. I also had her do the oceans and continents.
