I've 'improved' to best score 92%, 9 mile error in 154 seconds.
First time back, I had to place Oklahoma first, worse than my first go round. Had a score of 94%, 17 mile error in 183 seconds for putting Oklahoma in Kansas and Arkansas.
I think I would do okay with Canadian prov/terr, but would fail miserably for states of Mexico.

I despair as well, Meesthere.
I have a splint on the index finger
of my mouse hand-
talk about the "new" America!!
Those poor states were just
slippin' and slidin'out into
the ocean and
Canada and the plains...
Oh,it sure was fun anyway, OO!

100%, O miles, 1111 seconds. I may have an advantage because I have produced maps and graphic designs for many years. Rhode Island and other small states are the hardest to place because the curser nearly covers up the whole state.

NJ was the very last - small wonder - when I was a child in the late 40's Southern NJ was still a nice place to live - many working farms, great local produce and no subdivisions between Haddonfield and Brigantine.

A fun diversion. 92% 9mi 511 sec.
First few hurt me big time... trying to figure out just how far east/west Montana is with no other states yet on the board to guage by, and it got easier & easier as the map filled in. It could be made a LOT tougher if we had to place each state on an empty US without the relationship to other states so apparent. Guess I'll try again. Thanks for the link, OO.
