You are not making any kind of point here.

You can pay your DMV fee at AAA??? Why did I not know this.
I consider the DMV the 6th circle of hell. I never get out of there in under 2 hours!
I have had occasion to call them twice in the past couple of months. I remarked to DH just the other day that everyone they have ever sent our way has been friendly and very professional.
I'll never let our membership lapse, it has saved us far too much time and money over the years.

If you reread your original post you only wrote one sentence on the environment and a paragraph on how AAA treats its contractors. Hmmm, it does make one wonder what your point in posting was. As far as the date goes, just look at the post before yours dated 11/16/2005-that's how we know

The treatment of employees & contractors, huge lobbying efforts (with member dollars) & a nonchalant attitude to enviromental issues is not a point? Must not be, nobody responded to my first post regarding the enviroment. At least Dukey & Voyager2006 have done their research.

I do have a friend who has worked at AAA for at least 5 years and he loves it. He's quite a sharp guy and could work elsewhere if he wanted.
That's my only experience from the employment end.
