How much time in Baltimore Museums?
Hi,
Have about two days in Baltimore the week before Thanksgiving. Should get in around 10 am and can take train to DC about 4:30 pm the next day.
Thinking first day will include Federal Hill Park, lunch in Fells Point, and Baltimore Museum of Art, while the other will include Basilica and Peabody Library, Washington Monument, lunch at Faidley's Seafood and then the Walters. Would this work-out time-wise or be too tight? Or maybe I should swap the days, as the second seems more packed than the first? Is 3 hours enough time at Baltimore Museum of Art if I want a 2 pm lunch time back in Fell's Point? Is 3 hours enough at the Walters?

Hi JoeTro, I think 3 hours could be enough at each place. BMA used to have a pretty good restaurant on site. And, Tio Pepe and The Helmand are near the Walters. What is your Fell's Point resto?

Have a good time in Baltimore as I was there for a weekend this past June. I really liked the Walter's museum and spent around 2 hrs there. I am not a museum type person so think I went through quickly so 3 hrs sound about right.

Faidley's is in Lexington Market, I do believe. About a 15-minute walk from the Walters. Are you going to be taxi-ing, Ubering or Lyfting around? Or water taxi? See link below.
BMA has the Impressionist works of two sisters and a don't miss, IMHO. The Walters is so beautiful! In my last visits, in addition to their amazing collection, they were reaching out to students in Baltimore and then in Maryland. Another don't miss.
Visionary is for artists with no formal art training. Some say quirky and inspiring, others suggest too amateurish.
