How high is Up!
This falls into my how high is up category. (I posted a similar thread 3 years ago re drinks at the Rainbow Room $46 for 2 drinks.)
Had dinner in Manhattan at Bond 45 last night, double espresso was $8.50, a new personal high for coffee. With tax and tip almost $11. By the way it was even that good, no crema.
Other than that, enjoyed the restaurant, good food, ambiance and service, but stay away from the espresso.
Just curious if anyone else thinks that's outrageous for a cup of coffee? By the way, the price of coffee was not listed on the menu.

Just a follow-up. E-mailed the headquarters of the company that owns Bond 45 regarding the price of espresso. They indicated it was mispriced in their computer and has now been corrected. New restaurant problem I guess.
We'll get 4 double expressos on the house on our next visit. I guess it pays to speak up.
Caio!
