How do we avoid spring breakers?

I agree with staying in either Litchfield or Pawleys Island. Absolutley our favorite area, go there every year. These towns are still close enough to Myrtle Beach to do the touristy things, but away from the crowds. STAY AWAY FROM HILTON HEAD. LOTS to do in the greater Myrtle area. NOTHING but golf, tennis and beach to do on Hilton Head and if it rains, you're bored to tears. Must go to Divine's Fish House in Murrell's Inlet for dinner!!!!

Stop at Pawley's Island or Murrell's Inlet. Dining there is outstanding. Going S stop at Beaufort, NC as well as Charleston, SC. Beaufort, SC and Savannah, GA are great towns also. Further S stop at Sea Island and Jekyll Island. You should have a great time visiting there and not encounter spring break.
