How do I Extend Ticket

Purchased a Roundtrip ticket From U.S. to Philipines, I have stayed well over my scheduled departure in a few days it will be 6 months....do I need to extend the ticket? do I have to pay additional? American was the first airline in the booking to get here from san diego. I should call American? I bought ticket from discount broker online. Thanks for any help.

Dave

Presuming this is not a troll..
Of course you would call the airline. And chances are if you bought it from a discount broker it has restrictions including a change fee, could even be worthless at this point. Good luck

ONLY your airline can give you any sort of info. Call them . . . .

(If it was anything less than a full fare, changeable ticket, you are probably up a creek w/o a paddle)

Hi HumbleDave, first time poster.

You missed your flight on that tix. You were a no-show. If you didn't inform the airline beforehand, its time to buy yourself a new ticket home.

Buy your new tix anyway you want to.

Dave, Call American Airlines. I'm guessing you will need to purchase a new ticket, I'm not sure the one you didn't use that is now 6 months out of date is of any value.

Hello guys, Thank you for the posts...except for Grcxx3. Why take time out not to help? Wierdo.

For everyone else...The broker Agent informed me it was good for 6 months and then could be extended for full year. I just wanted to hear anyone elses experiences. Call Airline....hmmm duh. Is this a kiddie forum?

Really no need to reply....I wont return...Thanks if you meant well.

Dave

I honestly don't think I've EVER been called a "Weirdo." I LIKE it!!!!

Perhaps if the above statement had been put in the original post.....the answers would have been a little different.

Of course, since you're not returning to this site...you won't see this post. But as a general rule, most people find that posts/queries that give all the pertinent information get the most useful resplies.
