I want to stay in a safe, but reasonably priced hotel. Not sure about which play, but possible Miss Siagon or Les Mis. I'm open for suggestions. There will be 2 of us. Thanks.

I am assuming that you will be here Thanksgiving week (The Parade?)
Just about every hotel in NYC jacks the prices up. You really will not find anything decent for less than $225 a night. Please give us the dates you plan to visit and your budget.
Broadway tickets can be gotten especially for performances mid week.
Give us more information, please.

I recommend the Hotel Belevedere on West 48 Street 1 888 HOTEL58
or the Raddisson NY (Book over the internet) on Lexington Avenue At 44th Street. You need to book soon.
Broadway tickets on the day of the show are available at TKTS booths.
There is an official NY Visitors Information Center at 53rd St and 7 Avenue. Great Information.
The parade starts early in the day and dress warm for it. It gets very crowded so be forwarned. One of the fun things to do watch the balloons being inflated the night before.
Hope this information is helpful

Belvedere is soldout. What about the Millenium Hilton? Is that close to the Parade or Theater District?

Michele,

The Melinneum Hilton is nowhere near the theater district, it's in lower Manhattan near the World Trade Center. If you're looking at Hiltons, the Hilton New York and Hilton Times Square are both in the area you're interested in. Also check out the Marriot Marquis and the Millennium Broadway.

I would recommend Doubletree Guest Suites in Times Square directly across the street from Marriott Marquis
