Hotels along Rt. 90 towards Marblehead, MASS

Can anyone suggest a hotel along Rt. 90 on the way to Marblehead, Massaachusetts, about one to two hours away (coming from Albany, NY)?

We would really appreciate your suggestions.

Thanks!!

Do you mean 1 to hours from Albany or 1 to 2 hours from Marblehead? Around 90 minutes from Albany, you'll hit Framingham, where the Tara hotel (Sheraton, i think) is right off the highway. Also, as you get closer to Boston, there are a number of hotels in Newton right off of and next to the highway.

Framingham is probably closer to 2+ hours from Albany. But the whole trip is only about 3 to 3.5 hours (Albany to Marblehead).

If you're going to drive 2 hrs I'd just keep going the whole way through.

Please let me clarify, what I was looking for was to stay 1 to 2 hours towards Marblehead, coming from the direction of Albany.

Thanks hisam, I did find Framingtom on the map, and Newton. That could work.

Thanks Wyatt92 for your heads up, our drive starts much further than Albany, I just provided that as the general direction we will be heading the last stretch of our trip. However your suggestion is well taken, perhaps we should just drive straight throuh.

So with that in mind any suggestions for hotel around Marblehead?

Enjoy!

I think the 3-3.5 hour estimate is based on very light traffic. I live near Marblehead, and the last time I drove to western Massachusetts, it took me about 4 hours just to reach Lenox.

You may want to consider the Worcester suburbs for your first overnight. By then you may be tired of driving. Also, Framingham is not that far from Marblehead, only about an hour 1.5 hours away.

There are also many hotel/motel choices at the Sturbridge exit off 90. That is a bit farther west from Framingham, about in the middle of the Massachusetts portion of 90.
