Hotel in Boulder at the end of June

We will be in Boulder at the end of June for a wedding with our two teenage daughters. We are looking to stay at either The Regal Harvest House or The Boulder Marriott. I would appreciate any opinions on these two hotels. Also any suggestions on side trips in the area e.g.Colorado Springs etc....?

I haven't stayed at the Marriott, but have stayed at the Harvest House and liked it, although it was a few years ago. Boulder is not too far from Denver, and it's an easy drive, so you might want to consider staying in Denver. I admit that since I live in Denver I'm biased, but I like it a lot more than Boulder.

As for side trips, Estes Park is nice and it's only about an hour or so from Boulder. If you want to go a little further, I would suggest Vail. It's beautiful in the summer.

I'm not familiar with the hotels you're considering. However, I visited Boulder about 5 years ago (also for a wedding), and I stayed at a really nice old hotel in town called the Hotel Boulderado. The hotel has been there since the early 1900s and is located in a beautiful, historic building. The place was very comfortable and had a lot of character. There was a good restaurant on the premises and a fun pub located on the basement level, complete with pool tables, TVs, music, etc.

We really enjoyed staying there and would go back again if we returned to Boulder.

Hotel Boulderado is located at
2115 13th Street
Boulder, CO

I live in Denver now and formerly in Boulder. The Boulderado is very nice but pricy. If you don't mind the prices, it in a great part of Boulder (for walking around and seeing the sites). I recommend Estes Park too for sightseeing Really, to see the splendor of Colorado all you need to do is head west bound on I70 and there you are. As far are the other two hotels you mentioned they are both fine. Just your run of the mill hotels. There are a few B&B's that may be more fun. I don't know the names but you could call the Boulder Chamber of Commerce for some names I'm sure. Good Luck & Enjoy!
