hotel costs

I am having a bad time finding
cheap hotel deals for Vegas for
early May.
What websites do people use?
I called up 1-800 numbers, but
didn't get any good deals.
Flamingo was for $90/night and Luxor
was $99/night and these rates go up
significantly for the 3rd and 4th persons.

Has anyone had any experiences with
Circus circus? I am looking for a good
clean and safe hotel in the strip.

Also, typically would I have to walk thru
the casinos to even check in? And is the
smoke intense? My Dad is allergic to smoke.

Thanks.

1) Sometimes LAS room rates will spike up on the weekends..Always less during weekday...unless there is some HUGE convention in town..Go to any of the major search engines and type in Las Vagas Hotels...and you will have no problem finding them all..and will be able to see most room rates....
2) Most of the reservations and checkin areas are located far enough away from any reservations or check in area...that an semblance of smoke should not be a problem...

I've stayed at Circus Circus once, and my parents have stayed there around 5 times. My room was huge (lots of room and 2 queen beds), and seemed newly decorated. Marble bathroom, etc. Excellent value for $38 for 3 people! This was in February (last year). I would definitely stay there again on my next trip to Vegas.

Circus circus is cheap, the rooms are decent but the place is very depressing and on a dying downscale stretch of the strip.
I would never stay there again, one night was enough.

think about a package deal...air and hotel....flamino hilton`s front desk is in the entrance area..okay for smoke..also Imperial Palace..Babary Coast..good prices..check~cheapovegas.com~ good reviews about hotels...check travelocity.com for info on price comparing...give you an idea anyway..call some hotel 800 #`s and ask for their best rates..also check out L.A. news online for some deals..
