Hot Springs, Arkansas in November

Hi,
We are thinking of taking a long weekend trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas in mid November. How is the weather and temp. this time of year? What about the fall colors? Is the town still pretty full of tourists at this time of year or will it be fairly deserted? Hoping to have a nice relaxing bath & massage and take in the charm and fresh air.

Thanks,
mc

You'll definitely be able to have a relaxing bath and massage, but the tourist season will be over. For historic weather, check weatherunderground.com

In November, the peak time for beautiful fall foliage will have passed by then, I believe.

My family owns property in Hot Springs, and it is a great place for a relaxing weekend. It is a quiet place except when the horse races are running, and they won't be running in November. Weather can vary that time of year. It might be rainy and cold, so I'd check before packing. Most likely, the leaves will probably already be gone. Generally, the end of October and the beginning of November are better for fall color.
