Hot Eating In San Francisco?

so what is the current hot place to eat? We will be there in November and looking for good place to eat, but don't want one of those joints that charge outlandish prices. Good food, nice decor, and happy crowd is what we want (by happy I do NOT mean gay!).

Hot food is usually served in mexican and thai restaurants, check out sfgate.com. And don't worry about high prices - those are the cheapest restaurants. Yes, the crowds will be happy there, that's for sure!

Fred, you already need an attitude adjustment. Gay people will be in every SF restaurant.

Homosexuals can be found in virtually every restaurant in the world. Sounds like you should eat at home.

You'll be happy as larks if you give
Asia SF a try! 201 9th St, SOMA. It's just what you're looking for!

I agree with Charlene...Asia SF is good, so is Home on Market, Mecca on Market, and 2223 on Market....fun, not expensive and good food

You can never go wrong with Red Lobster.

Try Alma in the Mission District - i't described as "nueva latino soul food". I had a great meal there - friendly staff and reasonable prices. I think they serve wine and beer but no mixed drinks. Be sure to try the corn arepas as a side dish - awesome!
