honeymoon in maui

I am thinking of booking my honeymoon at the Ritz fo rthe end of June/July.
What is the weather like than? I have read that it rains alot in that area.
I dont want to be stuck in the rain for my honeymoon

No need to worry about rain anywhere on Maui in the summer.

It may rain occasionally, but no big deal.

If it rains in Kapalua, just drive south a few miles to Kaanapali beaches. They get a little less rain.

June/July is a very good time to be in the Kapalua area. Ideal time for a Ritz-Carlton honeymoon.

The windy and rainy weather is in the winter months. I can't guarantee you wouldn't have an occasional sprinkle, but it would be refreshing, rather than annoying.

Weather should be fine. My husband and I honeymooned in Maui in June, and it was fabulous! Enjoy!!

Maui has micro-climates. Where the Ritz is tends to be cooler and windier than Kaanapali and Wailea. Wailea tends to be hotter than Kaanapali. The advantage to the Ritz for a honeymoon is it is such a peaceful, quiet, tropical, scenic, beautiful area. Kaanapali and Wailea are more bustling with tourists and kids. So you need to decide what you want more: a peaceful tropical romantic environment with cooler weather or a bustling, less quiet, more touristy area with warmer weather. It's a personal choice.
