Hilton Hawaiian village

Have not been to hawaii in 12 years. So,not sure which hotel is best. We want on the beach and that has a fabulous pool and super nice too. We are thinking of the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Is that nice? We are 6 girls in our late twenties that want nice, fun and not too many kids.

Help

You don't say when you're travelling, but if you go when school is out you will see kids everywhere. I personally like HHV. You might try booking a 2br or 3br condo, or even 3 "studios" (this studio size has a mini-kitchen, but beware...no balcony) in the Lagoon tower. With 6 of you pitching in financially it might be affordable. More room, and in the larger sizes, full kitchen. Also free laundryroom on ea. floor. HHV has the widest beach when combined with the military hotel Hale Koa property next door. Great location, in my opinion.

The Outrigger isnt in the same class a the HHV..older..not a very good pool, not much beach. The HHV is less crowded. more beach, more to do.

I was at the HHV last August it was a zoo. This hotel is great but not when it is booked to capacity.

I like the Sheraton Maona but I am early 40's. Having said that I don't look 40 and have always met men unintentionaly but met them just the same here, on terrace during happy hour or rocking on the porch. If you don't want to meet men it can also be a hoot to watch the older men arriving with their young young girlfriends.

Think other Sheraton with Dukes bar/restaurant might be what you want, they have dancing on the beach some nights. They are next door down or so from Sheraton Moana. HHV is a nicer hotel than this sherton (not nicer than Moana)but a family scene. Almost BUS LOADS OF KIDS DURING SUMMER BREAK.
