Hilton at Fisherman's Wharf

I was thinking of booking this hotel? Good bad?
Suggestions for alternate hotels in or near Fisherman's Wharf that are reasonable?
Thanks!

try the hyatt. i just booked it on priceline for less than 100 a night. other posters said it was a good choice and deal. except that it "touristy". as a 1st time traveler to S F tourism is what we're there for. hope this helps

Bean: You can't specify hotel on priceline. You can specify by degree of luxury and district.

Go to www.biddingfortravel.com and read their hints and tips for bidding on priceline. Learn a lot and save a bunch of money.

Anything in Fisherman's Wharf is touristy and cheesy...not the true essence of San Francisco. I'd stay away from that area.
