Hiking forums for Colorado
Going to do some hiking and/or backpacking in Colorado the week of July 12. We lived there for four years, but that was 17 years ago. Washington state has two wonderful resources to locate hikes, and trail conditions - the Washington Trails Assn. (trip reports as well as guide), and the nwhikers.net - a great bunch of forums to ask questions and share trail conditions. Does Colorado have anything similar?

You might be able to get some information on summitpost:

I have been using nwhikers.net for info about a backpack trip I have planned for Washington in August. Great resource.

Another one that's Colorado specific is 14ers.com:

Though somewhat aimed toward climbing the State's 14,000-foot peaks, you can find general information about trails and current conditions.
