Stayed at Flanigan's in 2000. Good location on the entrance road to Zion. Standard room was very large, clean, tastefully decorated, & seemed modern/new. Grounds were very nice. Had a pool also. Continental breakfast was ok (included). Dinner menu was very good. I would highly recommend Flanigan's and would stay there again myself. Have no experience with the others you listed. Hi Liz,
We arrived in Zion/Springdale one day earlier than we had planned and came across the Cliffrose Lodge and Gardens and loved it! The rooms were nice - nothing special, but we just loved the gardens, pool and hot tub for the view of Zion. That evening I could have just sat there for hours taking in the view while my kids and husband were swimming (we had the pool to ourselves except for one man). The kids also enjoyed the hummingbird feeders hanging from the balcony of our room. They had never seen hummingbirds before. There is also a small playground and sandbox for the kids. The motel was quiet and the desk employee was friendly and helpful.
The next morning we sadly left the Cliffrose since we already had a non-refundable reservation at the Zion Lodge that night. The kids freaked since there was no tv or pool but we ended up being out in the park all day anyway (till 9pm or later) so it wasn't missed that much. Our room at the lodge (in the motel part) was comfortable, had plush towels and new bedspreads, but we would rather have stayed the second night at the Cliffrose. You are going to love Zion, it is just spectacular. Enjoy your trip!

We stayed at the Cliffrose a few years ago. It'd not the Ritz, but it's a very nice, clean place. Has a pool, and, as already mentioned, wonderful grounds. It sits on the river and has a great view of a huge red mesa across the way.
By the way - just outside of town, off a dirt road, is a grouping of old buildings. They used this when they filmed Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. It was Etta Place's house. Check it out. Pretty cool.
