Help us decide which restaurant to pick (Vegas)?

Going to Vegas the second week of June and have narrowed the choices to: Aqua, Renior and Mon Ami Gabi.

Any information on these restaurants would be extremely helpful.

Thanx in advance!

Ceck 'em out on chowhound.com. Search on the Southwest board.

Haven't been to Renoir but went to the other 2 in January for my husband's 50th b'day weekend. Both are good, but Aqua is GREAT. I would do Mon Ami Gabi for lunch..we did and it was delightful. Aqua is very pricey but worth it...special occasion meal. I would not call Mon Ami Gabi a "special" restaurant like Aqua is.

Aqua is very, very good if you are in the mood for seafood. As stated, Mon Ami Gabi is a good spot for lunch, espcially the patio in front. I think the food is good, not spectacular. (For example, the cut of meat they use for Steak Au Poivre is a relatively cheap cut, flank steak.)

Haven't been to Renoir.

I agree with the above posts. Aqua is WONDERFUL but only if you like seafood. Mon Ami gabi is nice for lunch.

Mon Ami Gabi is good for breakfast or lunch (omelets, fries and sandwiches), Aqua would be my first choice (great seafood), Renoir my second.
Then I like Circo (I likeeverything about it) and Picasso (wonderful and very expensive) also ~just to get you confused again

I realize you are trying to narrow it down, not increase your options BUT...I had the same question in January for my mom's 50th/family reunion. We ended up at 808 in Ceasars and it was wonderful...you can check it out online. Also, try www.vegaswatch.com -fo to the forums-lots of info on restaurants or you could just post this there. Good luck!

If you like seafood, *definitely* go to Aqua.

Just got back from Vegas this past Thursday. We had lunch at Mon Ami Gabi and it was great. Had a chicken mushroom crepe...french onion soup...all very good. I would recommend going there for lunch and sitting outside. Also had dinner at Bally's Steakhouse and Nine restaurant at the Palms. Steaks were great!! Also for Italian we had dinner at Battista's Hole in The Wall. that too was good. Have fun.
