HELP!! PLANNING HONEYMOON

Help me please! We're planning a honeymoon for the middle of August. Looking for suggestions - someplace in the United States, warm (that shouldn't be hard in August), lots of activities that we may or may not do depending on our mood that day, romantic. We're young (26) and like to do lots of things including hiking and water sports.

Bobbie, I don't know where you're coming from and what is warm for you. But if you don't need a beach so much or really hot weather-may I recommend the Pacific Northwest. Particularly the San Juan islands of Washington State. You also have Seattle, Cascade Mountains, Vancouver B.C., Victoria B.C., Whistler Olympic Mountains nearby.

You could go kayaking, whale watching, hiking, whitewater rafting, etc. Very romantic place the San Juans.

Could you let us know where you live, so we can make recommendations that might interest you more?

Sorry, forgot to mention we live in Las Vegas, Nevada - our honeymoon site certainly doesn't need to be as warm as here but 70 in August might seem cool to us.

Bobbie, It's obvious...If you're in Vegas you are a simple hop over to Hawaii.

When I ask Hawaiians where they go for vacation, they always say "Vegas".

Or, what about Reno (He says tongue-in-cheek!)
Mahalo,

But I've heard the weather in Hawaii in August is not very good - that tropical storm thing.....Any truth to that??
