Help Pick our Destination with a 2 year old for this Oct/Nov

We are a family of three looking for a destination that will offer beach, shopping, and sightseeing. As mentioned we are looking to travel this October/November.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

You don't mention where you live or your budget. No matter what tho I doubt if the 2 yr old cares much about shopping and sightseeing ... Personally I like Hawaii but that can be a long trip from some areas of the U.S. Living on the west coast I cannot recommend the CA beaches in Oct or Nov as the water will be cold. You need to tell us a bit more about where you are and how far you'd consider & at what price, after all there are luxury resorts and family resorts, etc. out there as well as destinations.

Sorry about that. We are located in Boston and would be up for a total vacation price of less than $3k. A plane flight of less than 4 hours would be ideal.

Thank you.

I'd go for someplace like Sanibel/Captiva, which has a nice beach, good restaurants, family friendly and good weather. There is plenty of shopping and sightseeing also.
