HELP...need a great city to celebrate best friend's birthday

Hi,

My best friend is turning 30 end april and want to have a weekend away with all of our friends. She is very well travelled and is the type of person who hops on a plane for two days in Europe. Want to go to a fun city where friend from various parts of the US can fly, stay either in a hotel, condo etc that is not extremely pricey for a long weekend. For my birthday last year we went to Vegas and it was so fun. She has been to most major US cities (NY, LA, Philly, Boston, Austin, New Orleans, Chicago, DC, Seatlle, Houston, Orlando, San Fran, Vegas etc) She deserves a great b-day cause she is always the one to plan all our group trips and she deserves a good time for her b-day! Please help.

Phoenix/Scottsdale. Great resorts for reasonable prices. Lots to see and do. Beautiful weather.

Thanks for the info. Forgot to mention that we all will want to party as well. She is pretty wild and don't think when she hits the big 30 she is going to really want to "relax".

How about Denver/Boulder? Springtime in the Rockies and a multitude of great places for a fine meal?

How about Charleston, SC? Awesome city, great restaurants, and a good bar/club/party scene. Also, since you are all 30ish, you're mature and intelligent enough to enjoy the history the area has to offer.

Weather should be great. Let me know if I can help more!

Odd mix of major cities.

New York is always great fun for a birthday, even if she has been there before. Have to second Miami if she hasn't been there. Great nightlife. Toronto can be a lot of fun. Acapulco or Cancun/Cozumel are good for parties as well.

Thanks,
Had thought of Charleston but know she has been there a few times (went with her once there) and has friends who live there. It is a a great city
Maybe Toronto or Mexico, will have most people flying from DC area, Chicago and Texas. She usually does all the planning anyway, maybe should just have her decide....
