Help deciding on islands for 4th trip to Hawaii
Hi everyone,
DH and I have been to Hawaii the past 3 summers, so we obviously love it! We plan on going again in August for 2 weeks. So far we have been to Maui, Oahu, and Big Island twice each, and Kauai once. We love them all, but if I had to pick today, I might say that Maui is our favorite.
This coming trip might be our last for awhile, as I am hoping to be pregnant by the time the summer rolls around. Sooo....which 2 islands would you pick for our last time to Hawaii alone for a long time??
Thanks so much

If you have never spent more than one week on an island, you ought to try it. Two weeks on one island is the best. It allows you the opportunity to really slow down, get into a daily routine and appreciate the slow pace of life on the islands.

If I was over 3 months pregnant I'd definitely pick one island for 2 weeks. Less than 3 months pregnant... I'd stay home and sleeeep!
I had 2 very easy pregnancies with no sickness, no obvious water retention and felt great apart from the complete and utter sheer exhaustion of the first trimesters. I had trouble lifting a finger until about the 12 week stage.
You may or may not be pregnant in August but my point is that you don't know how pregnancy will affect you personally. I'd only book things you can cancel just in case.

Bill, That's not a bad idea. I have thrown it around myself a lot, but my husband always thinks we are going so far from Boston that we should do 2 islands. I know you love Kauai -- would you say that we should do that one for 2 weeks? When is your Maui trip?
